Amalfi Coast & Capri, Italy – September 2013

Our second stop in Italy was the Amalfi coast. We traveled to the coast from Florence via high speed train and stayed in beautiful Sorrento for 3 nights. We also managed a day trip to Capri via boat one of those days. I won’t lie, I was fairly nervous to take a super active toddler on a 1 hour long boat ride to the island but after lots of convincing from Arturo we finally did it. And so glad we did because it was an amazing experience. Andy absolutely loved every minute of it and so did we!
We also had plans to go to Positano but it didnt quite work out due to bad weather & timing. Oh well, next time! :)

This was all in all a very relaxing part of our trip. We took it easy and tried to rest some as we were getting kind of exhausted after traveling for 2 weeks straight at this point. We stayed here for three days and it gave us time to relax, sleep in, enjoy the gorgeous views, and get ready for the final part of the trip which was Rome (coming up in the next blog post).

Enjoy the pictures!
