I told you I’d keep my promise of posting here more often. And what’s even better is that this is the 2nd personal post in 2 weeks! Can you even believe it?
So last week you met Sparky, our 4 year old crazy doggie. This week, I also introduce to you Scooter, our almost 3 year old black labrador retriever. Scooter is a sweetheart. He’s very calm & collected, but also the biggest goofball. His nicknames include Goofers, Panther, Blackie, and Gentle Giant. Yes, because he’s 100 lbs. And because he’s the most gentle, loving dog you could possibly meet. Among his favorite things to do are eating dry wall and chewing electronics – especially TV remotes and GPS devices. Yes, you heard right. *sigh*.
But anyways, here are some pictures we took at the dog park last weekend. Although these are just quick snapshots I still love them because if I had to choose photographs to describe what my dogs are like, these would be them. Raw, unfiltered happiness.

On the way there, struggling to snap an in-focus picture on a moving car while Sparky enjoys the outside air – his favorite thing ever!
Definitely not a perfect picture in any way, but I love it because that’s the face I see every day….and that inquisitive, goofy smile Scooter has.
And this was at the end of the day when they were exhausted and ready to nap on the car ride home. This is how it always ends….they love each other like good brothers. :) This picture makes my heart sing!
